Quite a handful! His tongue held in two hands,
hefty and wet,
the red carpet – whiskered and unfurling.
What a moon! The original danseuse,
glob and blanched,
sabre-danced, haunches, paunches purling.
A sweat pirouette! In the slum orchestra,
drab and perfect,
salver spinning – breathless and erring.
